1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double

The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest of the Baby Jogger range. It's designed for travel, and fits through standard doors easily due to its slim and compact design. It's also one the lightest double buggies you can find weighing only 14lb when folded. It's ideal for travel with a newborn and toddler because you won't be able to exceed the allowances for luggage on airlines. It folds down to the size of a travel bag so you can tuck it away in the back of your car when it's not when you're not using it.

The one-handed, Z-shape folding is easy and is extremely compact once you get the hang of it. It takes a few seconds to unfold. However, our tester found the auto lock to be a bit confusing and as the handlebar doesn't lock into position when you press it, it struck her legs when she used it. She also thought the handlebar was on the short side. This is especially the case when a large change bag is hanging from it.

This double stroller isn't as light as other travel buggies. It's got a broad range of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers on the market. It is compatible with two carrycots (available separately) and has various recline positions, and has a UV 50+ canopy. You can also add a bassinet to one or both seats and transform it into a travel system.

The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements and urban terrain. However, they were not made for off-roading. They struggled with long grass and gravel and there wasn't enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel, so mud stuck easily. But, our tester still loved riding this buggy, and it did manage to climb some beautiful hilly terrains.

It's not as simple to drive on public transport, however, because it requires more than one hand on the handlebar. It is also bulky and can't be stuffed into the standard car boot with the seat attached, but this can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy includes an infant footmuff and a changing bag with the price, making this a great value package for new parents.
